games you wish didnt end?

alot of games i play i play to finish. ill play for long stretches of time hoping to see the ending. then there are some games where the experience of playing it is so great i simply dont want the title to end. i felt this way with uncharted 2, as with killzone 2. so what games have you simply had so much fun wtih you didnt want them to end?

Oblivion

Mass Effect 2, I could've kept going with cool little side missions and loyalty quests. Too bad most of the DLC is mediocre. 

Fallout 3, Bioshock, Viva Pinata 2, Uncharted 1/2 are the first ones that come to mind.
 
...and it's looking like Red Dead Redemption will fall in there too.

Windwaker and twilight princess, i remember taking them real slow. 

We need Final Fantasy X-3!
Also I was mad at Dark Cloud 2 when I realized as was near the end, I want to fix up more cities with Georama dang it!

all the halo's I loved and call of duty Modern Warfare 1 & 2 could of been longer.  crackdown wasn't long for me neither.  Uncharted 2 was super great would of loved to play that longer.  many

dragon age. the plan was to start mass effect 2 after beating it, but once i did i had to get awakening right away.

I don't think there's any game that I really would like to just go on forever...I mean unless it's an MMO of course which is constantly gaining new content. As of now though, I am dreading for when I complete RDR.

Hitman: Blood Money actually, I loved the Hitman games and the way the game ended had me going "WHAT!? NO! HE CAN'T! WHAT!?" 
Other games haven't really made me do something like that (or at least not that I remember)

Wait. Fallout 3 actually ends? Man...   I'm going to add KOTOR, and... Halo 2's online multiplayer. OH GOD, WHY??? "

No game has made me sad over it's finale like Grim Fandango.  Part of it was knowing LucasArts would never make another point & click adventure game, but mostly due to how much I love that game.

usually I get to a point in a game where I REALLY want it to end.  games are long and there are so many good ones in the last few years and so little time to play, gotta keep moving.

There's no game out there that I've ever truly wished didn't end.I remember playing FF XII for 99 hours and was so sick of the game by the time I finished it. Don't get me wrong, I like sinking a lot of time into games, but sooner or later, I just want the game to end. To have finished the game and ended the story. That's my feeling about the subject at least, but then again millions of people play WOW so feelings about the subject are mixed I suppose.

After spending so long developing relationships and getting invested in the world, I was sad to finish.  For both games, the second playthrough hasn't been quite the same since I'm not as invested in my "new life".
 
Gears of War 1
Very awesome, and ends abruptly.  This problem was rectified by the long and awesome campaign of Gears 2.

I was really depressed when I finished Persona 4 :(

Final Fantasy VIII, Dead Space, and Assassins Creed II.

Wait...

red dead redemption, i'm playing the last bit at the moment, and i don't want it to end. When the music starts playing on a particular journey i was totally feeling what the character was feeling and i wanted to keep playing as john long past the conclusion.

Persona 4.  I love those characters so much; you get really attached to them.  I wish the game kept going and going.

Mass Effect 2. I could happily go through my life playing a good loyalty-type mission a day. 
It'd be like Firefly, but with better ratings.

RDR, Its a strange one because at first was just burning through missions to unlock the whole map. Then once I  did, I Became made at myself knowing I had just made the ending to  this awesome story approach faster.

Half Life 2, Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV/Episodes, Halo, Act Of War, Ace Combat 6, and Army Of Two: The 40th Day.
 
Obviously not counting post-game free roam stuff.

Deadly Premonition.  
 
Oh wait, umm -- I would've liked RDR to continue past the ending, but I suppose all good things must end. That's the only recent one I can think of besides games that obviously lead into sequels (BF:BC2, MW2).

Hmm, I can't stop thinking WoW, I know it hasn't ended as such but the game pretty much died for me a long time ago. I'd give anything to go back to my first couple of years of that game, I found it amazing!
 
Apart from that: Borderlands. I found that cut so short, I couldn't believe it was actually over when it was.   
Oblivion: I still need the DLC for this but I really enjoyed all the little side quests, actually probably more so than the main quest line. 
LoZ:OoT This one always annoyed me, the battle with Ganondorf never felt like enough, I always wanted to right the town after wards.
