GB Community Endurance Run- Help me pick my games

There is only one clear choice here, Duke Nukem Forever, the real charity will be that people can watch you play instead of playing it themselves

Not Persona 3. I'm already on that.

Sims 3 starring the gb crew sounds the most silly to me, which is what endurance runs are all about to me.

Endurance Run to me means something that's either ridiculously long or completely unbearable. Duke Nukem Forever definitely fits the latter, but everything else either seems good or has no real "end-game."

Of those, I guess I'd go with Resident Evil 1-3. The camera angles were always upsetting, and there's enough meat there to leave you emotionally devastated. I'd still enjoy watching the Sims play out with GB personalities though.

I need a little better explanation of what it is you're looking for, because those are very different games up there, that take vastly different times to complete. And some of them (The Sims, Kerbal) are arguably not games that have a concept of 'completion' at all.

@veektarius: true, those games you mention I'll probably be streaming for fun when someone else is on our "main stage" stream. As this is our first attempt doing this we're just getting a feel for what people are interested in (if interested at all). In the end we're hoping it will be a fun weekend with lots of games and a chance for us to raise money for child's play. All we're really hoping to do is be entertaining and see if this is the type of event the GB community would get behind.

I am a bad person. I voted Duke Nukem Forever. Although, not necessarily with ill intentions, on my part, just that is the one game on the list I would kinda want to see but never want to play myself.

Although the Sims idea is neat. Just not sure I'd ever actually watch it.

With the patches, DNF isn't a bad game. Longer then your typical shooter and with more things to do.

Persona 3 would be way too long. painfully too long.

Anything related to the Witcher series of games and/or books will always get my vote.

Speedrunning Resident Evil is something I can support.

I honestly voted Persona 3, as I love me some Persona. 4 is superior in my mind, but I wouldn't mind watching you play through 3.

Will you be solo casting this event? Or are other chuckleheads allowed to crash the party and cheer/egg you on? :3

Thanks to everyone who voted, right now Sim 3 with GB crew is winning but as we've talked about our main stage games I felt it would still be important to play a game(s) that could be beaten.

I'm personally leaning towards a marathon of the first 3 resident evil games on the PSX, and then I still plan on doing the sims 3 and several of the other games on my list during other periods when I am not on the main stage stream. I do appreciate people who voted and please don't feel like I'm ignoring your vote, we're just trying to feel our way through things to have a fun event that people can enjoy while supporting a good cause!
