GB Community Game Night

Hey all,

I really enjoy chatting with everyone and the general laid-back vibe of GB, so I thought it'd be fun to get some people from the community together and play some games.

Would anyone be interested in a monthly game night? If so, what do you like to play and what platforms do you have access to?

I'd be into that! I'm playing primarily on PC these days, though I do have a Switch.

Some of my favorite multiplayer experiences have been co-op shooters (Gears, Division, Remnant, etc.) but I'm pretty open to whatever.

I have all the main consoles and a PC with alot of games. Fall guys night might be some good dumb fun.

I've never played Fall Guys but I'd be up for that. With it being F2P, it's pretty low stakes to get people in.

Are there days and times that work best for people?

I'd be down for some PC stuff if the timing works out.

Tuesdays and Thursdays work great for me. Also could do some games after a UPF too.

i’d totally be down for a monthly game night. i’m primarily PC, but almost everything is x-platform. i mostly like co-op more than competitive, but i don’t know if that’s harder to organize.

what about unlicensed 3DO games?

@rohsiph: Yes, but only if they're unlicensed by Panasonic and the IP rights holder. Only bootleg cartoon games for me, please.

Later in the evening and weekends would be best for me. I'm in America (Central time zone).

Alright, so it's looking like we'll shoot for something F2P, more cooperative than competitive, and that has crossplay (easy). Fall Guys on a Friday, post-UPF seems like a strong contender so far, but any other ideas are welcomed, too!

I'd be down for some Warzone/Fortnite/Division/Destiny at some point, too. I've also somehow never really played Minecraft, so we could always do that as well.

@looterjennings: Those suggestions on time and games all sound good to me. As we discussed in the chat tonight, I'd be down for Path of Exile or the MW2 raid if we have enough interested.

@constantk: If nothing else I'd definitely be down to try the raid, too, at some point. I know @nillock plays too.

I think it's a great idea. Now I mainly play on PC, but there are a few consoles in the closet, I need to find them
