GBCER5: Which JRPG Should We Play?

Both of those are among my favorite games on the PS1, but Suikoden 2 moreso, so it gets my vote.

I beat Suikoden II for the first time last year, and i fucking loved it. Game is timeless, I even have "nostalgia" for it even though I played it so recently.

Chrono Cross, I may actually watch then as I have never seen that game.

I'm all for you guys playing either game with a totally gimped party.

Suikoden II is the best JRPG ever made, so do that one. Get all the flying squirrels.

@relkin: I've played that game like a dozen times and I've still never done that. There's always one that eludes me.

@zeik: I'd love to see an Endurance Run end in frustration. This seems like a good opportunity.

Suikoden II, I played the first one when I was younger, but never played the second. So I would love to see what is heralded as one of the best JRPGs played for charity.

I asked the members of the PAX Super Metroid speed run panel which game you guys should play and they and the crowd said Suikoden II. The people (of PAX) have spoken.

Can you name characters in Suikoden 2?

I've never played Suikoden anything but I hate Chrono Cross so I voted for Suikoden.

Chrono Cross has the better music but Suikoden II is the better game by a wide margin.

Where is the rabid Chrono Cross fan base on this? Also where did this Suikoden fan base come from?

It looks like Suikoden II ran away with the win. I'll be sure to purchase/download it. We'll start the playthrough right after Unprofessional Fridays on April 10th.
