Giant Bomb about to have 70K users.

My take on this is inevitability.
And one step closer to global domination.

Seems like only yesterday I made a thread celebrating 60k members. Giantbomb is slowly taking over the world...

Giant Bomb goes through milestones like this on a fairly regular basis, it's a very quickly growing website. It was only about 4 months ago we reached 50,000 users. And it'll probably only be about 4 months until we reach 100,000 - which is a real milestone.

I remember reaching 50,000 users and while that was rather exciting at the precise moment it happened, it pretty much went by without a great deal of recognition from the community. It's pretty exciting to know what still seems like a rather small community is growing close to such a large userbase and there are some fantastic members in the Giant Bomb community. I only wish that we hadn't seen the recent and worrying rise in the number of people who have joined the site only to spam the forums and try to aggravate users. Of course the big one will be 100,000 users which I don't think we have any excuse not to celebrate.

unfortunatly there are many of those dud accounts which are something like mariolover, mariolover1, mariolover2  etc. But still it is good to see Giant Bomb becoming a large community, hopefully the site can capitalise on this and expand

I wish more of those 70,000 users were actually active on the site, but whatever, it's still an impressive number.

Only about 3,000 members regularly post on the forums, maybe even less.

Pretty cool that it's about to hit 70k users by as many have said a large number is inactive so the milestone is meaningless in a way. But it's still nice to see GB growing.

I'm kind of surprised GB isn't bigger. This is arguably the best gaming website on the planet.
