I do not think they are ever going to update it. Since your are a member you can use the mobile site instead, or just the normal site in your browser of choice. Also, there is an app called something like Whiskey Media Video Player, but I am not sure how that is working anymore with the sites split up.
The Android App isn't official a few duders made it before the mobile site was introduced so my guess would be never. In my experience they have been pretty quick to fix it on the few time it broke but don't see any readon to remove the beta tag.
I believe the developer or developers decided not to do any further development after the official mobile site launched. You should check out Whiskey Media Video Buddy though.

As we said ten months ago, no. The developer stopped supporting it when the mobile site launched. I doubt he's going to start it up again. Just point your mobile browser to giantbomb.com and enjoy the responsive design.
However, you may want to check my blog for a preview of one possible future.
