Not sure if we've done of these in a while. Feeling curious about the GB demographics.

Seeing as I started this inquiry, I should probably chime in and admit that I'm 44. But young at heart!
I'm 22. I joined the site back in 2011, so I was 17 when I started coming to the site. But I was listening to the podcast for a few years before that even. I got an iphone around 15. That's when I discovered podcasts. Kinda went crazy for a few years there. I would probably be horrified if I saw how many hours of my life I've spent listening to dudes talk about video games. I actually remember the first Bombcast I listened to bored me to tears. I think they had a dev on and all they talked about was Wow. Not the best first impression, but I gave it another chance later on and loved it.
21. I started listening to the bombcast in 2011? 2012? I forget. I do remember that I stated to go to the site when Jeff and Ryan put up a short podcast in the bombcast feed about how recent changes to the site might cause some wierdness with the RSS feed and, ended with Jeff asking people to check out the site changes. I still can't believe that was four years ago.
This question was on that official user survey just before Christmas, I think. Is there no way to see the results of that one?
22. Started visiting in early 2010. Found the site by listening to another podcast which referenced the bombcast. First episode I listened to was the one where Will and Norm came on to talk about Tested which had just started.
26. Joined in 2008 when I found the site while digging for any Too Human coverage. By the time the P4 Endurance Run kicked off they had me and I've been here pretty much daily ever since. Stayed quiet though until recently. A lot can change in nine (!!!) years, and these days my friends and I live hours apart and my girlfriend who I live with works crazy hours as a nurse, so I have more downtime and find myself in the forums more often now.
I want Too Human II. Screw the haters.
Turning 31 this year, my join date is 2010 so I guess I was 24 when I started. Wow... what is time?
Same it'll be 7 years this April. The site doesn't even feel that old.
Turning 32 in about a month. I signed up in 2011, but I've been coming here since mid 2009. It's kind of weird to think that I've been reading/watching the GB crew for close to 1/4 of my life.
31. This site's full of industry vets that are 30+, so I guess that's why I stick around here?
The forums rarely involve terms like "flame shield up" so that's probably why I've stuck around this long.
Never even heard of that term, so yeah, you're in good company duder.

I had to urbandictionary that :S

Yeah, my forum posting days started at Gamefaqs around 2000. Jumping into a board and seeing someone go "I hate your game and all of you *FLAME SHIELD*" was a pretty regular thing. I have a hard time getting angry on the internet, so since these forums are moderated fairly well it's a decent place to be.
I've been following the GB crew since they were at Gamespot live streaming "On the Spot" back before flash video was even a thing. Remember those days?
32, going on 33 in about 6 months time.
Joined in '08, which seems surprisingly long to me, but then I remember I made an account fairly early but didn't become super active until later on. Originally I was a big GameSpot guy and really loved (still do love) Greg Kasavin, so I was pretty bummed when he moved on but at the same time happy for him and what it meant for his future. Eventually I got around to really enjoying the antics of Jeff, Ryan and one Rich Gallop, and was again quite bummed when he left.
Then the whole Kane & Lynch controversy came about and I stopped going to GameSpot for coverage, but still stuck around the forums as I had some good friends I still followed there and enjoyed having conversations/debates with. Eventually that kind of dried up as well and since I had made an account on here after hearing from a friend that Jeff and Ryan had made their own website, I decided to take a look around.
Don't know what exactly it was that made me stick around but I'm glad I did. A small confession I must make is that I never finished the Persona 4 Endurance Run. I had played P4 and eventually fell off for whatever reason, (likely in no small part thanks to the PS3 coming out) but after watching some of the P4 ER it got me real motivated and I went back and finished the game.
I'm 30. Been on GB since the beginning and followed the guys at Gamespot before that (maybe only a year though prior with the gamespot stuff).
Wow i expected 15-18 to be much higher. I guess most other teenagers do more than sit at home and watch old guys play video games all day :P
They tend to watch young guys who scream a lot and pretend to have extreme reactions to stuff instead of genuine funny dudes who know a thing. Either that or watch people who play nothing but one specific game.
GB is a smaller niche, but I'm pleased as heck that it exists.

Paul Ryckert has to be the one guy who said 50+.
To be fair, it could also be Jeff Green.
