GIANT BOMB COMMUNITY ENDURANCE RUN 2’ - HYPER RUNNING IS A THING!
More than an hundred years have passed since the first King of Endurance Run Tournament was held. The participants shattered the backs of Xbox 360 launch titles, survival horror trilogies, genre spoofs, speedrunning, and crippling design bugs. Those who survived have spent the past months studying under various masters of video game lore, preparing their bodies and minds for the day when they would be called once again to soar with the eagles, Charlie Tunoku, Francis York Morgan, Francis Zach Morgan, and Brono.
Well guess what, sonny jim, we’re back! and this time we’re playing for keeps. We’re getting the band back together to Endure the crap out of a tidy fistful of games, while taking donations for Child’s Play! Last time we held such an event, we managed to surpass $1,200 in sixty hours! That’s all well and good, but we are some stakes-raisings SOBs.
Remember @amlabella’s heart-attack inducing race against the clock to finish Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines at the end of the last event? The passcode on the door from that glitched-out nightmare of a section? That’s right...
