Speaking of cool stuff missed recently to QL:

Psycho Starship Rampage

Its a shoot'emup with a neat twist that you build your own ship, as you progress through random levels, out of blocks and a diablo like loot system with a bit of crafting thrown in. I personally think it's a really neat game, but it's Steam publicity and activity seems near 0 sadly. Would be awesome if you could give it a quick little spotlight with a Quicklook. It's addictive enough to have made me stay up to 4am playing "just one more level".

Also Endless Legend never got a look at here, it's a 4x civ like turn based strategy game, came out last year. I honestly think it's the best one in this genre that I have played since Civ5. It's has a lot of it's own ideas to add to the genre and unlike a lot of games that try to add twists to the formula it executes on them well and makes them work. It had an expansion come out last month.

So yeah, I just pretty much just have a thing for trying to make more people aware of really cool games that can get lost in the release pace. Cause I always just feel it sucks when good stuff gets passed over. ^.^

Load your last save: Kingdom Hearts. Or start from scratch.

Someone on this site doing something substantial with Valkyria Chronicles would be great. I feel like at the least, Vinny would enjoy the mechanics.

Edit: I would also like to mention Ghost Trick, Okami and Persona 3, but I'm fairly certain Vinny has played through at least two of those.

Unless Contradiction totally quenched the guys' thirst for murder mysteries, I would personally love to see a playthrough of the first Danganronpa. Those games are mad good, but have never gotten video coverage on the site. Patrick mentioned them in last year's GOTY podcast during the discussion of contenders for Best Story, but since no one else had played them, they didn't really stand a chance.

I'm pretty sure that even after it was given the axe, Vinny mentioned he'd still like to give it a shot at some point. If he's still not had the chance, this could be the perfect opportunity to do so!

@vinny: With all the focus on super mario maker and all the content that's been surrounding it on the west side (watching patrick beat dan's levels, them making levels with chat suggestions), I'd love to see the east's take on it.

Whole lot of people are somehow typing "Life is Strange" instead of Phantasmagoria 2. Either that's a bug needing a fix, or I need to start making alt-accounts...

It has five CDs! That's like, five times better than a regular game, if you think about it.

I think 80 Days, recently released on Steam, is a really good game to play together. Relatively short, unique, story-driven, and rich in meaningful and uncertain choices.

I always enjoy multiplayer content, so something like Vermintide, which goes into prerelease beta in 3 days. L4D2 in Warhammer Fantasy.

And yeah, a look at Prison Architect, now that's fully released, could be interesting.

It's still kind of new but I really wanna see GBeast play more Stasis. The quick look had a really good vibe, and it reminds me of Overblood. Life is Strange would be pretty good, too.

Crusader Kings 2, Dwarf Fortress (wish the Snyder saga could've continued, but I'd be interested in a Walker playthrough), Kingdom Hearts...

Last year, a game called "Another Perspective" came out on Steam that I thought was pretty neat; it be cool to see it get more recognition in the form of a quick look or something

I'd love to see @vinny play through The Dream Machine. It's a really cool episodic Point and Click adventure that seems right up his alley. The kinda dark tone and great clay and cardboard art seem like something @alex might be into as well. It's not complete yet, but there are five episodes out now, so there's plenty to play.

Also, just play Saints Row 2 because it's the best Saints Row game.

I don't really have any suggestions, except for maybe Snatcher.

I think it's safe to say that most anything with Simulator in the title is good GBEast fodder.
