EDIT: OK, I don't get it, why is this site so great? The design stinks, and the content is nowhere near as unique as GB. I can get all of the info on that site from 10 other gaming sites.

I've only ever been on there a couple times but i hear their content is actually pretty good sometimes

Awesome. And there are only two proper video game editorial websites on there. The Escapist and Giant Bomb. Both well deserved too. The other sites in the games section are OnLive and an iOS game site and a flash game site. Great to see Giant Bomb up in there.

It's just hit me, I'm a Moderator on one of the 50 best websites in the world!!! YEAH!!!

Lower than the Escapist? Eugh.

I am not really a loathing person, but i absolutely loathe the escapist, and everything they do.

I still sometimes wake up in the middle of the night, screaming, thinking about the horror that is the escapist forums.

@thornie: i go there for Zero Punctuation and that's about it. i don't know how it stacks up against GB as i haven't really gone through their other content, then again that in itself is kind of telling.

With all that shady moneystuff going on at the Escapist right now...i think Giant Bomb should be prefered...of course

Oh wow, you guys weren't kidding about The Escapist's site design. I've watched plenty of videos on there (mostly ZP), but somehow I had never checked the front door until now. That's pretty ugly.

Phenomenal stuff! Great to get this sort of recognition and exposure.
