Giant Bomb Membership

So I've been dithering on the GB membership until today.  They put up an ad with audio - now that's something I can't have, if I'm going to be at work and procrastinating on this site.  So, will paying make it go away?

If you are a paid member you don't get any ads.

I just checked. There is an automatically playing ad with sound.

I recall one of them(I think Daniel) making a post about ads not long ago that seemed to imply that the people in charge of the ads were doing things they didn't want them to and they were going to try and work it out.

Yeah, some of the ads are pretty terrible.
