Giant Bomb's Adverts

This may be stupid but what has happened to the ads? I remember them being on the website a long time ago but its only really now that I realised that there haven't been any for ages.

Is it possibly since I live in the UK or are the ads just not on Giant Bomb any more?

The advertising industry is on a downturn at the moment, so ads on this site have been few and far between. Mike Tatum (who handles the business side of things at whiskey) commented on this in this thread.

The only one I've seen was for The Watchmen, which was tastefully done.

I always thought it was concerning if they were even making money.
