Hey guys,

I am considering buying and iPad, as a new version seems to loom. As it has no flash, how is the "GiantBomb" experience on the iPad? Can I watch the streams including the premium content? I saw there is a twicht client, but at least on the iPhone the client there is awful. You can not even boomark channels. Is it better in the iPad version of the App?

So I think I posted a couple times in the chat room during premium live streams but you can now watch premium stuff on an ipad now using either the Puffin or Photon browser which both support flash. The Puffin browser is free while the Photon browser is like $4.99. Out of the two I preferred the Photon cause you can go into full screen and it's more stable compared to the Puffin which would either crash or lag periodically. I watched most of last weeks Unplugged premium show livestream on my ipad at a coffee shop using Photon.

Do you watch the live streams as they happen? If not, I use the giant bomb video app and it is great. I usually am working at the time of the live shows but you can stream or download HD video of both free and premium videos and it keeps them all in a nice organized list. 90% of my giantbombing takes place on my iPad.

While I'm at college, I use the video app to watch all my GB content. It really is fantastic and I can't recommend it enough to other users.

Twitch has finally started to move towards HTML5 support, but it still has a long way to go before it is actually in a functional state. Maybe by some time in 2014 it will be actually be completed, but I imagine all of their engineering efforts are probably focused on Xbox One and PS4 support at the moment.

I spend about 90% of the time I'm on Giant bomb using my iPad and it works fine. Personally, I don't watch live streams as they happen so I wouldn't know how well that worked, but watching archived videos, subscriber or not, works greatly.

The forums also work really nicely, but at the moment you can't put pictures in your post or quote people in a thread.
