I'm looking for something new to play and I want a game that can take sometime to beat. I have PS3, PS2, 360, DSi, and a pretty good PC, what's a few good games that will be good time wasters. No JRPG's because I'm tired of them after beating all the Persona games.

jrpg warning :p

it depends on your tastes.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion seem like very good time wasters.

Time wasters, eh?

Okami isn't a JRPG. It's J, and RPG, but not exactly JRPG.
Saints Row 2, if you feel like projectile pooing on buildings.
I'm sure Fable II is good, even though I haven't played it yet.

That's all I can think of for now. I'm just lazy :P.

@Jeust: Hardly a traditional JRPG at all I'd say haha, not in the slightest. It's Japanese, sure, but not a traditional JRPG.

Well you could always invest in WoW, dunno what you're stance is on MMO's.  I blew an inordinate amount of time with Fallout 3, I'd check it out if you haven't; same goes for Mass Effect.

@Video_Game_King: From what I hear, Okami is basically Zelda with a fox and some painting elements (or something). Zelda isn't even remotely close to being an RPG.

You could jump on the Champions Online bandwagon while it's fresh or check out the Sims 3.  The best part about the Sims 3 is gathering all the community created custom content and modifications.  I found the core game to be pretty bland, but when the community stuff is added in, it really comes alive.  I can kill a few hours in that game easy.  Then, I've not tried it yet, but people say good things about Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.  It's supposed to be a gearing up-centric RPG.  I've also heard it can be a bit repetitive if that kill-loot-kill gameplay isn't to your tastes.  I think the characters can work their way up to level 200, so that'd take some time, I bet.  And, if by chance you missed out on Star Wars: KOTOR, Steam has it now for $10.  And if you havem't played DQ IV or DQ V for the DS, you should check them out.  I prefer V but others prefer IV.  Personal tastes.

Try Odin Sphere or the Yakuza games (if you can find them).

Well, it does have customizable stats, making it closer to an RPG than Zelda.
