Good Revenge Games

I've been on a binge of vengeance movies recently, and I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for games about revenge. All Google turns up is Custer's Revenge and Burnout Revenge, which are obviously not what I am looking for. Anyone know any good ones?

Shadows of the Damned is the first thing to come to mind.

@DrPockets000: Max Payne 1 & 2. Not sure about 3, but the first two are amazing revenge games. Also, the ending to Hitman: Blood Money.

The final mission alone of red dead redemption alone is an awesome revenge tale But I guess in a way the whole game is sort of If you look at it from a different angle

Xenoblade Chronicles is a great game if you have a Wii.

GTA 3 is a revenge story but I never knew that at first. I rented it the first time I played it and the opening cutscene didn't play the part about Catalina shooting you in the face during the robbery. All I got was the prison escape part on the bridge.

I can think of three games: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Shank, and Fallout: New Vegas.

And II, III, Ghost of Sparta... OK, Chains of Olympus isn't centred around Kratos' next revenge plot of murder. But otherwise, the entire God of War franchise is one big orgy of vengeance and revenge.

Man, it's just too bad Revengeance isn't out yet, eh? :P That'd been perfect.

Basically Asura's Wrath and God of War are what comes to mind. There are a bunch, bunch more but those games really stick the "Revenge" thing.

You should play WET. I mean it is basically attempting to ape the revenge grindhouse flicks that Tarintino is so credited with making popular again. Its cheap and its a fairly decent time.

Saints Row the Third, Red Faction Guerrilla, Enslaved, and The Saboteur have a bit of revenge in them, though it's not the main focus.

Asura's Wrath is definitely the game about revenge, at least in recent memory.

Lords of Shadow, kind of. It's great though so play it anyways.

Splinter Cell: Conviction.

the Ninja Gaiden reboot (Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black, Ninja Gaiden Sigma) is a story about revenge on the dudes who slaughtered your village.

Fable 2 maybe

Modern Warfare 2 is by far the best revenge game i've played.
