I have 1.5 year old baby. He loves pressing buttons, so i have ordered micro-controller 8bitdo zero2 and im wondering what would be good games for android emulation to be playable as a toy. Just so some stuff happens on screen with input from the controller, i dont expect him to really play anything for few years. Maybe with cheats enabled etc. Think of it as baby sitting at piano smashing random keys for fun kind of activity. Thanks.

Have you considered Mario Paint? There are apparently ways to get it to work with a controller. You can literally act like a toddler mashing keys on a piano with the music editor and just splotch colors all over in the main game. It is the first game I think of when I think of SNES toy games.

Anything colorful with expressive characters and immediate visual and audio feedback to button presses is probably good. Not SNES but simple ipad games that let you sort things, colors, dress a character, open boxes or doors to find surprises and stuff like that could work.

Maybe you could play Wonder Project J with him, it's more complex but has nice animations. Or that Pac-Man adventure game

Infinite Jest is a SNES era book, maybe the baby would enjoy that.
