Graphics King this Holiday, I beg to differ

Lots of people say that they'll be a new (console) graphics king come this holiday, then they go on to show pictures of gears 2 or whatever.  I think you should check this out.  Remember how everyone though PDZ would look like crap before it shipped but ended up looking very good (graphical we're talking about, dont even care about what you thought the game was like)

Anyway, it seems like Banjo was that way a bit ago.  From the newest trailer of Banjo (here it is in case you think these are fake)

Yeah Rare games always have great graphics. I think Gears of War 2 looks much more detailed though.

No where near Toy Story. You'll have to wait another generation for that.

I have a hard time saying any one game does the best graphics in anything these days.  Even Crysis has great jungles & lighting effects but the vehicles & characters are far from the best.  It's not like we're in 8-bit where there's only so far you can go in any direction.  These days there's a LOT of games that do the 'best' in one or two areas but not in others.

Nuts and Bolts does look good, but it doesn't look anywhere near Pixar standards and nothing this generation will...

Rare games always looked Incredible. even in the N64 days.
