I'm 25, and with the slower summer gaming season, I've recently gotten back into handheld gaming. Just curious how old other handheld gamers are.
Sony seems to be targeting everyone all together for a change which is also piquing my interest in an outright handheld revival.
Handheld Gamers: how old are you?
27. Just got back into it due to flying once every two weeks and getting really bored of iPhone games. Picked up a PSPgo and a DSi and im enjoying them equally as much. Each platform has its advantages. Peace Walker is very good and I have been playing Persona on the DS and that is good for the grind of travel!
Anyway 19, DSi and original PSP for current gen handhelds, a GBA SP for older games.
But I never play games on the go, usually just lounge around on a sofa or something when playing.
19 (almost 20). I've spent close to 60 hours play Peace Walker this summer, and for several weeks in college I would try and play GTA ChinaTown Wars whenever I could. I'm also super excited for the 3DS.
20. I'm playing Chinatown wars, Dissidia, and fifa 09 on my PSP
20. I have a DS Lite, PSP, GBA, Gameboy Colour and Gameboy. Some short bursts of fun on the train or whatever.
28 and I would be playing my PSP if the power button didn't freaking fall off when I dropped it. I stuck a bunch of stuff in it to try and slide it on but nothing worked. Now I have to take the damn thing apart if I want to turn it on.
So that leaves me with my GBA which--I don't know--seems mad boring these days.
" I stuck a bunch of stuff in it to try and slide it on but nothing worked. Now I have to take the damn thing apart if I want to turn it on. "
That's what she said.
23. Haven't been using my PsP for much other than playing video and music for quite some time, and while Iove my DS we haven't spent to much time together lately, though that probably has more to do with the games being out right now than me being genuinely bored with the system. I can also still go back to Ouendan 1 & 2 from time to time and have fun.
Twenty eight. My DS was the first handheld system I purchased, and it's become my traditional RPG haven of sorts.
24, been gaming portably since I got a brick gameboy way back when, but didn't fall hard until the GBA and the slew of amazing games for it. If I had to pick one platform to keep in my life, I'd pick my PC, but if I had to pick TWO, the second would be my DS. It might be the best dedicated games machine EVER.
17.
I've never been able to play games while on the move, I usually just listen to music. When I play portable games, which isn't often, it's on the bed like I was playing a regular console game.
