Has 2011 been good so far for games?

I think 2011 is shaping up to be the next 1998. I mean we already got Killzone 3, Bulletstorm, Dead Space 2, and Marvel vs Capcom 3, I'm sure I'm missing more titles but I don't want to name them all. So what do you guys? Has 2011 been a good year for us and is it just getting started?

So far I've only played Dead Space 2, but yeah, those other games seem to have a good following. And we still have Portal 2, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, Arkham City, and more. Looks like an amazing year.

Ghost Trick was so fucking good man, don't leave it off.

Dead Space 2 and Bulletstorm as of right now, but as you've mentioned, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, plus Brink, Duke Nukem Forever, Batman: Arkham City, Rage, Saints Row 3 (rumored), Mass Effect 3. 
 
Yeah, this year is going to really grand. 

I've only bought Dead Space 2, though it'll be picking up soon with both Dragon Age 2 and Yakuza 4 in early March, then L.A Noire in May, with inFAMOUS 2 in June, Resistance 3 in September then two of my most anticipated trilogy finales that are Mass Effect 3(that is if it doesn't get delayed for 2012 like I'm expecting) and Uncharted 3 during the final few months. 
 
EDIT: Jesus, I forgot Gears of War 3.. so many brilliant games on my list that's there's already a few that I overlook =X

Yeah, I think it's going pretty well so far. And there are still a lot of awesome-looking games that have yet to come out. Should be a damn fine year, for gaming at least.

I've been having a great gaming year so far. Dead Space 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Mass Effect 2 for PS3 (finally got play it), and the list goes on and on. So many more great games are coming, shit's wild. 

It's just getting started and therefore too early to tell.  By this time last year we had Bayonetta, Mass Effect 2, Darksiders, Bioshock 2, and Heavy Rain.  It'd say the two years are about even, so it's going to take a few more months before we see if there's a strong difference in month-after-month quality.  I believe that 2010 had a lot disappointments mixed in with the good so looking ahead for 2011, just because we think a forth coming game will be cool doesn't mean it actually will be.  I say don't rush it, we've got 10 more months to go. 

It's a lot of sequels.  But they're (mostly) all sequels I want to play, so I can't complain.

Are all must buys for me.  Assuming nothing gets delayed of course.

Didn't care much for DCU or Magicka and not interested in much else that's come out so far.  March onwards is looking mega though.

Man you guys like lots of games. The only things that interested me so far is Ghost Trick. 
As for the future line up just Mass effect 3, Dragon Age 2, The Witcher 2, Tatics Ogre and Dissdia 2. An ok list but not legenady (yet, we'll see how good they turn out)

Thinking a little bit more about it, and damn if there are not a lot coming. In addition to what I said before, Ubi is planning on a new Assassin's Creed game this year, Gears 3 sometime Q4, even if there are no good 3DS or NGP games platform launches are pretty significant. DNF will probably be underwhelming, but it's coming out and that's amazing in itself. Dragon Age 2, I think LA Noire is this year, LBP2 is already out. And I'm sure I'm missing even more.
 
This year is huge.

Plus, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, LA Noire, Mass Effect 3, Batman, Uncharted, inFAMOUS, Resistance, and other games that look really slick. Too many to buy them all in one year, sadly.

Duke Nukem Forever is coming out and the internet meltdown is going to be glorious!

It's been fantastic!

As a man who didn't play games in '98 and who hasn't played any games released this year. Yes.

I thought 2007 was the new 98'? Anyways..
