Has Oddworld Stranger's Wrath ever came out on the PS2?

So me and a friend got into this big argument about how Oddworld Stranger's Wrath did come out onto the PS2. I told him that it didn't because if it did I would have been all over it like herpes on a prostitute. He claims that it has been because he saw it in so many gaming stores when it was released. So I need some clarification once and for all proving that I am right. So if anyone can send proof that the game doesn't exist then it would help.
 
What I think happened is that he might have saw a pre-order case at GameStop but then the game got canned.

no it was a xbox exclusive.

It was originally an PS2 exclusive if I remember correctly.  EA wanted more money, so Oddworld shifted development to multi-platform.  The PS2 version then fell behind and was cancelled shortly afterwards. 
 
Or something like that.  Either way, it never came out on the PS2.
