...I actually don't remember. It was a couple of years ago, but I remember sticking around because I recognised the guys from the occasional visit to Gamespot back in the day.

I had been on Gamespot since 2002 (I think). Kasavin and Gallup leaving were pretty big deals to me, so when Jeff was fired I just followed him on his blog for a bit, but I honestly don't remember the first time I visited once the actual site launched. On another note, I remember following Rich's website/blog (I think is was called Doofy Crap or something) for a good while, even after he stopped updating it, haha.

Yep, same here. I was visiting Gamespot frequently (though never participated on the forums), and pretty much stalked Jeff onto this new home. It sounds terrible, but him leaving Gamespot back then is the best thing that happened to the Internet, I really don't know what I'd do without Giant Bomb.

I think somebody posted a link to a quick look on another forum, I can't really remember the specific details, but I was hooked ever since.

Was a Gamespot fan back in the old days and I just followed Jeff and Ryan to the Arrow Pointing down Podcast which led to the Giantbombcast and Giantbomb itself. I miss testing drinks on the podcast...

The news featured a story on this site about it being the "bible of video games".

The news in my country are kind of stupid, but I thank them for that.

Jeff said on his blog that he and Ryan were going to be starting a site. I then rode in on a dragon and registered.

I saw a link, either from the Gamespy or SomethingAwful forums (I think Gamespy) to the Too Human "Review" video and decided that these guys had it right.

Strangely enough I found a Prince of Persia Quicklook on Gonintendo (which is weird cause I can't remember why I was on GoNintendo). I found it amusing so I watched another one. And then all of them. And then the DP Run. Then I saw the Persona 4 ER and thought "What? I'M not going to watch 250 Episodes of this, this is fucking stupid". As of today I watched the P4 ER twice.....

I always liked Jeff and when I heard that he got fired I stopped going to gamespot which was my main source for video game stuff. After that I went to a few other sites but never really enjoyed any of them. I eventually went to kotaku for awhile, when my cuz told me that Jeff started his own site. This was back when it was still REALLY early, probably the first or second month honestly. Used GiantBomb and kotaku until they had that god awful redo and now its mainly Giantbomb.

When Tony Hawk Ride came out I had no idea what it was or how it looked. Googled it and first video was the quick look. Been coming back ever since.

I was looking for gameplay footage of Afrika (ye, that's right) on youtube and someone had posted their QL there. What's even worse is that they really made me want to buy the game (although I ended up not getting it) and I still struggle with the same problem when watching GB QLs to this day =/

I kept noticing threads about the Bombcast being posted on NeoGAF so I finally began listening to one earlier this year. I thought it was great and began following it. Then I learned about the Quick Looks. Then I learned about the premium content. Finally I decided to sign up.

I had read a recommendation for the Bombcast. It was a bit roundabout though.

My first kind of experience with podcasts started with State of the Game after seeing a bit of competitive starcraft from the in game menu news. State of the game was kind of interesting, so I went looking for more gaming type content.

Found it from listening to The Hotspot when Jeff n crew were around, then i had a couple years hiatus from games, well more from general games since all i did was play Final fantasy xi and play guitar and read upon no video game news at all, then getting back into games and podcast's again i remembered The Hotspot and tuned in to find them gone and then lead onto finding the Bombcast and then to GB.

Funny enough on a Bear website that featured a podcast that I use to listen to. They had posted a picture of Ryan as bear of the week and after doing a quick google search of him found my way to GiantBomb and haven't looked back since.

I was listening to an episode of the Joystiq Podcast a few years ago, and Justin Mcelroy mentioned that the only other podcast he listened to was the Bombcast. I don't go to Joystiq any more unfortunately but GiantBomb is my home now!

I loved Gamespot when most of the staff was still there, after Jeff got fired, I had heard through comments on the site that he and Ryan were starting anew with a new website, and I've pretty much been following since the beginning :3.

I asked for a Zune 120 for Christmas the year after it was out (roughly). I spent that Christmas at my Grandma's house 3 hours away from mine. I wanted something other than music for the ride home and I discovered podcast and what they are while searching the Zune Marketplace. I quickly navigated my way to entertainment and from there, video games, my only love at the time lol. There I found the Xbox 360 Fancast (RIP) and Giantbomb. Listened to every episode since then I wanna say. Thank you Zune, you're not dead to me, especially since I still own my Zune HD and love it.

After the 1upocalypse, I had nowhere to go. I wandered about, looking at all of the different video game websites, and this one was the best.

Came here from Gamespot, although a little later than most (mainly because I didn't hear about the Gerstmann controversy until about a year after it happened (I was slow to news on the internet at that time)).

Was always a big fan of podcasts, overheard my brother listening to it in 2009, I think it was a natural transition for him to fill the gap left by the 1up-ocalypse. It took a little while but I got hooked. There was a period where for the life of me I couldn't tell who was Ryan and who was Jeff when they spoke and it was very confusing.
