How did you find out about Giant Bomb?

I found out at ComicVine, someone announced that it was up.

Jeff got fired and everyone found out about his new site. That's how I found out.

i stumbled across the first arrowpointingdown podcast on accident. when i read who was in it, i had to download it.

 Same here, Jeff's blog. Glad he stayed out in the field so to speak, rather than looking for a job behind the scenes with a games company or such. These guys make listening to videogames discussion interesting. That's no mean feat when it's an interactive medium.

People posted alot of topics on GS like "GB is so much better then this site!" GB vs. GS which is better?"  Thats how I figured out.

Like probably 90% of people here, I found out from Jeff's blog after he got fired.

I work for the government.  It came up during a meeting.

I heard about Giantbomb after reading a friend of mine's blog on Gamespot. However, I didn't know anything about the politics going on at Gamespot nor that Jeff was fired from there. His lack of video reviews made me think he had just moved on (quit or found some other job).  I didn't question that he was absent.  I did see a few "Viva Le Jeff" avatars, but I didn't connect the dots.  Lastly, someone posted a news thing this week that explained the entire Jeff thing, which I then googled his name & read the wiki so I'm now up on the Times. Kewl.

If Jeff didn't get fired would this site exist?"

Friend said there was a site better than the site I was on at first I came to giant bomb and it was dead slow than they fixed it and now I like it.
