Recently I've been asking my friends this and they think I'm kind of odd for having about 150-175 (both PS3 and 360) but seeing some people post on other threads makes me seem as though I'm on the smaller end of the spectrum compared to some of you!
How many games do you own?
160 on Steam alone. Haven't bothered to check everywhere else but I'd wager the total would be close to 400 including all the old consoles and the boxed PC games.
Steam says 408, but that's some DLC and a pretty significant chunk of those were either gifts, bundles or free through other means. Also, I never buy anything on Steam for full price. The most I ever paid was like £23 for Borderlands, £19 for Dead Island and other than everything was sub £5.
I recently bought an Xbox, so I currently own 7 Xbox games. Enslaved, Fable 2, Dirt 3, Kameo, Halo: Reach, and Gears 1 & 2.
Edit: Steam calculator says it is worth $3000 but as most things were bought for 50-75% off and obviously bundles and stuff, I'd wager that I have spent $1000-1500 since making my Steam account in 2007. That's far too much and it makes me sad.
Around 500 for various consoles and a lot of Steam games. Probably haven't played around half of them.
About 200 across current gen consoles. There's about 50 i've never put more then 20 minutes. I always tell myself i'll get to them someday but that's seeming less likely as this gen starts to wrap up.
Only counting my PS3 games, since that's my only current gen console, I have 22 games. but I've played/beat over 50 games this gen.
Across all of my conoles and only talking about full retail disc/cart games, somewhere between 1200 and 1300 last count. That is a collection growing since the mid 90s, but mostly it has grown since about 2002, with the Gamecube and GBA. The consoles would be Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Gameboy Advance, DS, 3DS, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC/Mac, Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive - all still connected and functioning. I generally add about 120-150 games a year and spend somewhere between $2-3,000 on them. What can I say .... I like computer games.

I have a list on my profile that I update when I buy and sell games. It's up to 314 but I know I'm missing some.
some number close to 200, probably. Got loads of old ass gba games sitting around somwhere which would add to that.
Right now probably around 70-80. I used to trade a lot of my games away. Still do sometimes but nowhere near as often.
If my list is accurate 123.
I don't hold on to my old consoles or games so I've never really amassed a huge collection but this is by far the most I've ever owned in a generation.

how do you get around connecting them at the same time? I have 6 older consoles hooked up to a 2004 CRT TV and I have to use two A/V switches which is a little bit of a pain.
Xbox 360: 17
Wii: 3
Xbox: 7
Gamecube: 8
N64: 15
PC: 2
Total: 52
I also have a handful of Gameboy/GBA games lying around that probably bring the total closer to 60.
I own about 200 on Steam (PC) alone, and I don't even live in America anymore (I live in China, making it a little difficult for me to buy games on Steam sometimes). That doesn't include my games in America, which is probably around the same size as yours, and I haven't lived in America for about 2 years. So don't let your friends make you feel bad. You've got a decent collection of games. Your friends just aren't as dedicated as you are. They're probably jealous.
I own about 50-60 on steam, about half of them have been played. Most of the others are mainly there for a time when I want to play them or just backups of games that I really liked from this gen (Fallout 3, NV, Skyrim, Max Payne 3, etc.). And I have about 20 games on PS3. No games for my Vita, which I may end up selling off. But I have a considerable amount and most of them are on Steam even though I mainly play my Ps3. I am weird I know.
Probably somewhere between 300-400 if I had to guess. Closer to 800 if you count all of the dumb Free App of the Day shit I've been getting on my Droid from the Amazon Marketplace.
