I have... well, a lot. And I don't even buy a lot of games; I just have a hard time with end bosses on games, and haven't ever sold any of my games. I've been playing since the NES era, so even buying one game a month it means that you have over 200 games by the time you are 25 like myself.
How many unfinished games do you own?
A Lot : LA Noire, Dark Souls, Resonance of Fate, FF13, Mario Galaxy 2, Borderlands, Bowser's Inside Story, Costume Quest, Critter Crunch, Red Dead Redemption, Solatorobo, Zack and Wiki, Yakuza 4, Devil Survivor, Bastion, Saint's Row the Third, Skyrim, Rhythm Heaven, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Skyward Sword, Brutal Legend, Bayonetta, MGS4 and a few more + the 3DS GBA ambassador games.
My Life and games don't always sync. It doesn't help that 3 more games are on there way in the next few months.
Donkey Kong Country Returns, Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Dark Souls, 3D Dot Game heroes, Vanquish, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Dragon Quest 8, Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, Professor Layton and the Last Specter.
that and the two Fire Emblem GBA games, holy cow why did i keep buying them without beating a single one first?
I keep all unbeaten games on my shelf upside down so it always jumps out at me "HEY FINISH ME!"
Unfortunately, far too many, since my beloved Xbox isn't in my custody anymore. It also doesn't help that there are way too many new games coming out that are incredibly alluring. Sigh.
Before I got PS+ I had only not finished 5% of my games. Thanks to PS+ I get 2 to 5 games a month that I most likely have no interest in at all so my completion rate has dropped big time. Now I probably haven't even started 15% of my collection. For example, there are 16 PS1 games on my PS3 hard drive and I have tried 3 of them and finished 1. I didn't even bother downloading the 3 Syphon Filter games this month.
Almost my entire Steam library since I get sidetracked and distracted easily. I know the number but I'd rather not say.
Lots. I actively go back and finish them when I can but there are some that I just can't get into or don't like enough to finish. Far Cry 2, for example, is a game I've tried about five or six times to play through and don't like enough to ever get past the first few hours. My Good Old Games list, on the other hand, is full of games like Baldur's Gate 2 and Planescape: Torment. Great games (or so I've been told) but I have trouble pushing past the old mechanics.
My list includes a few games like Insane Twisted Shadow Planet, Gears 3, Deadly Premontion, Final Fantasy 13, Rayman Origins, Halo Anniversary, God of War 2 and 3, Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 1 and 2, Killer 7, Persona 3, Ratchet and Clank, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Epic Mickey, Metroid: Other M, Super Paper Mario, Phoenix Wright, Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story,Chibi-Robo: Park Patroll.................And my Steam Backlog

Unfortunately, most of the games in the list...I have yet to open. I am currently playing Dirt 3, Rachet and Clank, and Killzone 1. Better get to work.

WOW. This is such a good idea.
Counting Steam games, hundreds. I buy all the Humble Indie Bundles, but I almost never finish the games in them. I buy them for charity not really because I want all of the games. Combine that with the crazy bundles Steam has and I end up buying dozens of games I have no intention of playing.
Around 28 of this current generation that I'm keeping track of. Actually made a backlog list.
LOL you are telling me. I bought THE ENTIRE collection of Sam and Max games. I have played 2 episodes and may never play any ever again. What was I thinking!? Goddammit steam.I have way too many to even begin to count. And thats just physical discs. Lets not even go into the absolute horror that is my steam games list. Jesus christ sometimes I feel I need a intervention during steam sales.

Skyrim had so many bugs that I hesitate to call it finished.
I expected to see a post like yours much, much sooner.
Too many to count. I get distracted easily from even the very best games. Sometimes I come back and finish, but that can take months or even years. Right now, I am playing Gears 1 from 2006. I bought it back then, played a good chunk of it, put it down and that was it for a while. I remember picking it up again at one point and playing it in co-op with a friend for a while, but then it disappeared into the "island of forgotten games". Then, this past holiday with all the GOTY talk and the good things said about Gears 3, I decided to dig up my old copy and start afresh. If I finish 1 and 2 from my library, I might buy 3. Of course, I'll probably be pretty burned out by then, play it for 2 hours then set it on the shelf again for half a decade.
Made a list http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/moncole/games-i-still-have-to-beat/46-69363/ And more than half the games are amazing
A lot. Backloggery is a great site for this. I am currently working on finishing some of them, but I also have some that can't really be finished on there that I still have listed as Unfinished instead of non-finish-able.
I also have only put like... 5% of my games on there so far. Such a chore to add them all. But I will do so eventually. Wish you could just hook it up to your Gamertag, Steam user etc and auto-add games.
A lot.
Just bought http://www.indieroyale.com/, so now I can add even more to the list.
Dark Souls/Demon's Souls (I have to be in the right mood to play, but I love playing them)
Modern Warfare 3 (Felt I should play it to complete the story, but get super-bored of generic shooting)
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (Getting there! Enjoying far more than I thought I would)
Goldeneye Reloaded (Brought mainly for the local multiplayer, which has been enjoyed thoroughly, the story is a bit dull however)
Devil May Cry 4, Darksiders, and a few others that I lost progress of when my PS3 YLOD'd
And a horrible amount of Steam games that I will eventually play, I'm currently getting through Dead Space 2, which is awesome.
