How much are you willing to pay for s NES?

I saw this on yahoo.com and thought i would and what does the GB community thinks about this. Would you pay that price for it?

It's a game that was bundled with the system they were after, not the system itself. No, I'm not a collector and I find the entire practice to be rather stupid.

Not really kosher, but there are emulators that satiate my need to play the SNES. So I wouldn't even think about dropping any significant amount of money on the SNES.

Already got one, so nothing. I think I paid like $20 for it with the Mario game and gold cartridge Zelda, though.

Since I really wasn't around in the time of the NES and there's quite a lot of the NES titles available via the Wii's virtual console I don't really have a desire to buy a NES at all.

I paid 50 for mine, which came with the box, and the classic Super Mario Bros/Duck hunt game and controller set up. (Zapper and two controllers)

If I were you I would look on Craigslist.com if you can. I have found people willing to sell a box full of old consoles, games, controllers, and strategy guides for only 30 bucks. To them it is old junk that has been collecting dust in the garage, but to me it's a brand new experience and hours of entertainment for 30 friggin bucks!

$30 for my FC Twin.

I would pay zero, because in the age of the internet, cartridge based consoles are free.
Also, my first console was an N64, so I have no affection for the 8 & 16 bit eras.

not alot, you can get those one consoles that play nes and snes games for like 40 and its new.

I bought one with a couple of games once for $5. I dont know what happened to it though.

Yeah, I read that on kotaku. It seems like that woman had no idea how much that game was worth. It must have been quite a shock when the bids started going so high.
