Ever thought of a cool feature for a console(current gen or next gen) and you just really wnated it to happen? So let's say you get to play around with the console and you are it's creator for a short time. You can put ONE new feature in it, no matter what console it is, but no more than one. What would it be?
If you could add one feature to any one console...
Universal button labeling. The PS3 was my first Sony console, I couldn't play any game with quick time events because my brain couldn't identify which symbol went to which button.
Similarly, the Wii U has the same letters as the Xbox 360, but organized differently. Having all three console makers use the same button names and layout would help both consumers and game developers.
Add features? fuck I want them to take some away. Gosh I miss the glory days of pressing a power button, putting a disc in and pressing play and that being the start and end of the process to playing a game on a console once again. But if I had to go with an addition I guess backwards compatibility would be awesome so I can have an excuse to get out my extensive ps1/2/3 library in the future. Sadly the chances of that ever happening are non-existent.
Man I haven't touched my ps2 in years, think I might have to change that this week.
backwards compatibility would be great. I think sony is using gaikai for old ps1.ps2,ps3 games so i think thats resolved. How about depending on how much time you game the companys would start adding a point system so you can get rewards? Like for example i would play BF4 for lets say an hour and i would get 50 points. It's something small but we gamers spend hours grinding for trophys so i think we would love this. at least i would
