I'm getting free ms points

I just checked my account, last I remember I had about 1500 points, now I have over 3000. They added my rewards points seven times.

Fuck, why am i not on rewards?! Damnit

I have 2330 now..Bought Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and now have 1130...need to check my rewards page to see what happened.

Bought Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and Kasumi's Stolen Memory (finally!) with them.

I'm in Canada and same is happening to me. I spoke to a service rep and he had few answers, but he told me that the points are mine because it was their mistake. That was an hour ago and its jumped another 220 points since then I think I should call back and see whats going on.

I never get any points from the rewards program, what do you guys do to get the points in the first place? (I mean the legit points, not the bugged ones)

I hope they don't take them away so I can wait and use these points on Toy Soldiers 2 next week....

Neat. There a way to check your points by not logging in? I don't feel like finding the box I put my 360 in a few years ago just to check to see if I got these points.

@crusader8463: You have to be a member of the XBox Rewards program where you earn free microsoft points. You won't randomly get these points otherwise.

@crusader8463: OK, have you done anything to earn points? I think it can take up to 45 days for earned points to be deposited into the account...what's happening is whatever balance is supposed to get added to the accounts is getting added 4-6 times...if you don't have anything that was going to be added today then it won't matter I would think.

Just bought every Black Ops expansion. Used to moan about how much they cost. Now I don't really care! Thanks Micro$oft! :)

I just got 220, 6 times (1320). I'm going to wait to see if they do anything about it.

@craigbo180: You can view transacation history by going to xboxlive.com and go to your account. Once there go to "View Microsoft Payment History" and you can see what points have been added and subtracted from your account.

Man thank you for the heads up. Just picked up all the Saints Row2/EDF DCLs...fo'free.
