iRacing has acquired Monster Games (One of the developers of Nintendo's 1st party titles)

A while ago that I was browsing through iRacing's official Twitter page posts, I saw they recently acquired Monster Games (The studio that previously developed Excite Truck, Pilotwings Resort, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Donkey Kong Country and much more).

After I heard this news, I'm unsure if Monster Games is still allowed to develop the future Nintendo's 1st party titles.

Since iRacing doesn't directly compete with Nintendo, I don't see why Monster Games couldn't continue doing exclusive work for Nintendo as long as everybody agrees to keep on doing that.

It's true that iRacing doesn't compete with Nintendo because their target audience is completely different.

Now I'm wondering what's the future for Excite series (Excite Bike, Excite Truck & Excitebots: Trick Racing) is going to be...

Excite Truck is still my personal favorite game on the Nintendo Wii.

I don't think there was much chance of getting a new Excite Truck/Bots, but now there is even less :(

That's unfortunate, I really missed Excite Truck and hopefully, if Nintendo wants a new installment of that, it's either that iRacing allows Monter Games to develop for them or commission another developer.
