I was at gamestop the other day and i noticed they have used copies of relitively new releases for $54.99. I thought "holy crap that is way to much for a used game." Honestly is there anyone who is going to pay that price? I personally would just buy a new copy for $5 more.
Is anyone gonna pay $54.99 for a used game?
I did for the Gears Of War Collector's Edition. I should have waited but it was a good deal considering it was in great condition.

So true. Gamestop screws you over on trade ins.
"For me Iv'e had bad luck with used games, that had zero scratches and marks, working fine at first and then working like a peice of shit after it is to late to get my money back. Thats the main reason I'd pay $5 more. "That makes much more sense. I don't go to Gamestop. Instead I go to a local place, that is very particular about it's used games condition. That's why I came up with my answer.
Hell no I wouldn't, unless they give it to me and I don't even realize its used... but other then that, no.
I'd definatly go with the brand new release. It means the discs could be faulty, could be a beta build of the game or even an import that has been sold.
Well it depends really. Used PC games I wouldn't, because many people just buy the game, and take the CD-Key and register it to their usernames. But I might buy console games, seeing as there is no need to fear the ability to play online. Although, if I really do support a company and really like what they are doing and what they represent, and are not some mindless corporation, then I would buy their game. Remember buying used games equal no money for the game developer, rather all the money goes to the store (i.e. Gamestop, EBGames, etc...).

They were selling it for $54.99.
If it's a PS3 game I would because it's hard to mess up PS3 games unless your just rough with your stuff.
