The topic says it all, I was wondering if they plan on doing anymore endurance runs in the near future since they just recently finished Persona 4.
Is Giant Bomb planning on doing any more endurance runs?
My guess is that it would a long while until they do another one. It was fun no doubt but it did take up of lot of their time.
Well Persona 4 was special since it had a certain kind of humour to it that made it that much more special. I still liked the Matrix Online Endurance Run but Persona 4 was the perfect choice for this kind of series. For the next one, I think, the right kind of game has to be chosen.
" @Andorski said:See Vinny's countless episodes of Fallout talk on the Bombcast for proof of this." I can see Oblivion being as long, but I'm sure the GB crew has already played the crap out of that game and have moved on. "yea i was thinkin either that or fallout 3 but im sure they played both of those games into the ground "
" @Video_Game_King said:You don't need to have played Persona 4 to enjoy the Endurance Run. You don't even need to enjoy that type of game for it to be funny. You should check it out." If they do, I hope it's a game I've played. I don't want to be left out of it this time. "Im with you on that, maybe have Ryan and Brad do the next run? "
Well if they want to continue on the Atlus published titles front, they could play Demon's Souls. Since it is a long RPG, I doubt they have the time to play through it all during the game release season. But In their spare time next year it seems doable. The one problem I see is that the game gets too frustrating for them and they actually quit midway, since it can be a brutally hard and unforgiving game.
I mean their intent during to P4 was to see how far the get before Jeff just gets up and walks away, but they managed to pull through because the game itself isn't especially hard and the story was very engaging.
