Tell me a person who isn't biased.

The Kinect stuff isn't even the best part of the new dashboard. It's not pervasive through everything on Xbox, it still has limited functionality in Netflix and Hulu, and it's not the best way to control the dash. The voice commands are cool, but motion is still kinda janked. I don't blame the guys for not making it the focus of the video.

Why do we have to be 20-somethings? What's wrong with being older or younger you stupid fuck?

The new dashboard sucks, a lot of the space is used up by ads, for example on the main screen the little boxes with my friends/messages in are tiny compared to the huge advertisements for video content right next to them.
Then there's the other ads too.
But whatever I guess, I never really need to use the dash. I still think it's pretty stupid and a poor use of space; there's a ton of blank space not being used.
Also, another point entirely: Kinect is horseshit and they give it more attention than it frankly deserves. But you know what, fine with it. Because it's always hilarious to see how bad most of the Kinect software is.
People moaning about bias is one of the worst things about the internet at large
I thought people came to GB becaome of their love for Videogames. I can see many of you thrive on hating what isn't established or mainstream. The Golden Age of Videogames is apparently long gone. It's now replaced with the dusk of malcontent.

I do think Jeff sometimes is purposefully championing the most obscure games he can find but I just chalk it up to his personality.
How is that even remotely a bad thing.
No, not bad at all.

Naw, we just like things that are good.

Don't you mean Winter of Discontent?

what the fuck has this pointless thread go to do with video games.
I'm guessing the reason why Jeff didn't show off any of the Kinect integration isn't because he hates the Kinect but because he didn't want to bother setting up the kinect for a QL of a dashboard update (not exactly top-tier material when it comes to quick looks). Not to mention that the people who would actually care about dashboard updates are generally not the people that own a Kinect (i.e. mainstream folks that were suckered into it last fall).
Incarnate.
But I'm sure it's only Gersztmann, I myself don't have any tastes or preferences so I am completely free of bias. It's kind of liberating, for example I can buy anything and everything that advertisements tell me to buy, without remorse. Well, except for the money thing, my financial limitations are encroaching on the liberties I gained by eliminating personal bias from my life.
@ballblaster: I honestly don't care about the biases of the Giant Bomb crew. I DO care about you having no ability how english works.
BIAS is a noun, meaning a tendency to lean one way or another. So you can HAVE a bias against something.
BIASED is an adjective, meaning that someone has a bias against something
Unless you are saying that Jeff embodies the intangible concept of bias itself (which you are not), he cannot BE bias.
I'm not sure when people stopped learning how to use this word in sentences, but it is fucking infuriating to watch.

Come for the video games, stay for the hatred!
If Jeff is bias, that's fine. I'm not judging anyone here. That's his choice, and as a San Franciscan, he has that right. I am just wondering why out of all the GB crew, Jeff would be the one to do a Quick Look for something which's primary feature is held in contempt by the person demonstrating it.
