Is Speedrunning eSports?

Then it isn't much of "sport" is it? You might as well start playing Football with the season finished, winners and losers declared, but then deciding "The only way to score is by kicked field goals".

It is great you get enjoyment out of kicking the ball through the goal posts but don't expect others to recognize that at all.

Not sure, but I'd be alright with it if some of the people who did this kind of thing got more recognition.
