It's been what, five years? Six years? No news at all.

Who even has the license now? Double Helix? Atari?

It's a shame the game hasn't gotten a sequel yet. It was one of the unsung gems of last gen.

I believe he's referring to talk of their being a sequel to Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure at some point in the past. I believe it was Ecko himself that said he wanted to do a sequel, but reality doesn't seem to have panned out in that fashion.

I don't believe they ever announced a sequel. It'd be cool to see a sequel, but it'll never happen.

First I heard of it. That game was disgrace. I was way into the whole graffiti thing when it was coming out. I didn't tag myself but I read a few books on the roots of how it came to be and the culture. Back in the day anyway it was surprisingly pretty deep with rules and rites, and not just writing "ASS" on a wall. Marc Ecko used to be a writer himself so I thought this game would be pretty cool - a realistic portrayal of someone "Getting up" which is like slang for becoming famous among the graffiti scene. Really early on in the game you start beating up cops in hand to hand combat and getting shot at by helicopters and snipers. Never beat it.
