Is there a way to see who authored a new page?

I really want to find out, because I need to find the person who created the "My Father's Sword" concept page...and Kiss them with mouth!

I don't think there's a proven way, but most pages tell you who has contributed the most to it on the left hand side. If one person has a lot more than the rest, it's probably safe to assume they did most of it.
