More like people are like this when they're not old enough to own a credit card. And I understand. I used to hate that shit too. But nothing's being taken away from non-subscribers here, it's just us paid dudes get some additional content for our money. The only reason the site might have gone "downhill" is that they moved in with all the other whiskey media sites, which I didn't like at first but am warming to after TBLLSL, which I guess was partly the point of that show.

I understand "I wish this was free; I don't/can't/won't pay for these features", but as you noted, it's certainly not selling out. I'm sure that guy and those like him expect to be compensated financially for the work they do for a living.
I'm not a paid member (yet) but a lot of moaning about this live show (and about the site in general)... guess what, they paid, they contributed to the site, so in return they get a special service, be it no ads, HD vid, or even an exclusive live show. It's like PSN +, everyone gets PSN, but if you pay, you get a little extra content in return.
