Maggie was very unattractive. Her nose has some weird exaggerations, her face resembles that of a senior citizen, and even the Joker looks more attractive in his nurse outfit. I realize that's just disturbing to say, but does anybody else agree on how ugly Maggie is?

I really don't like using my comments twice, but this is basically the same thread so here we go.

I can't imagine how difficult it is to cast a female lead in such male centered movie.  No matter how well she did, the best she could be is seventh fiddle to Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart, Sir Michael Cane, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Christian Bale.  Until Mr. Nolan requires a more agressive woman character (Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, etc.), I don't see any actress pouring her heart and soul into the role.

She was certainly a forgettable role... that's for sure.  Fortunately Heath Ledger was so damn creepy that every time I thought "man this chick is a terrible actress" he popped up to take the stage.  They should've cast someone else for her role... Nonetheless, great movie.

Can I just ask who cared about Rachel Dawes at all? Yes, the fact that she knew already made it that much easier so we wouldn't get the whole "can he tell her? can't he?" thing going on, but if she's going to be in it at all, why not have someone who could add some spunk to the character... plus, putting Maggie Gyllenhaal in something pretty much assures it will be a dark movie.

btw I really want the joker in a nurse outfit walking gif... badly...

I'm indifferent to her looks, I'm more interested in her addressing exactly how one sucks a fuck.

So many unanswered questions...
