Which site do you prefer more? Kotaku for me.
Joystiq or Kotaku?
Dont really care though i was banned from kotaku for asking how a thing was news lol and with no way to appeal it because the bastards dont answer their emails and there is no actual link to appealing such things.
Joystiq
Anything Gawker Media is nothing but spam, duplicates, and articles that aren't even relevant. I don't want to see constant stories involving murders and the person just so happened to play some video game at one point in their life.
I also don't want to see shit like this. Does that honestly justify a blog post?
Kotaku for me. Joystiq likes to post unverified information.
Joystiq, because they don't post creepy shit every day, or have the irritating air of self-importance Kotaku does.

You've got to be kidding. Kotaku are the #1 rumormongers on the internet. They were cold busted by CheapAssGamer for their total lack of discretion when posting news stories.
"Joystiq, because they don't post creepy shit every day, or have the irritating air of self-importance Kotaku does.Well maybe they're both full of shit then.

I read both, prefer Joystiq (mostly due to their podcast giving them an edge), but I am suspicious of all video game news, even here on Giantbomb. Rumors and speculation are par for the course in video games. As such, I try to read as much diverse sources as possible, with the hope of building something resembling the real news.

Then again, they're blogs, it's not their job to be responsible or credible."Joystiq, because they don't post creepy shit every day, or have the irritating air of self-importance Kotaku does.Well maybe they're both full of shit then."

I hit up Kotaku even though they come off as self-important arrogant snobs at times and clutter their site with bloggy bullshit and complete retards who should have their fingers cut off like AJ Glasser.
I'm kind've partial to Destructoid, which represents the other unmentioned one of the "Big Three" gaming blogs. Since it's independent, and not run by the larger suit wearing types, it sometimes fails to get noticed. This isn't to say that I don't appreciate Joystiq or Kotaku. I pretty much read all the major gaming sites. Looking to one place for all of your news leads to missing out on some cool stuff along the way. Never fall into that trap.
Joystiq and Kotaku are exactly the same. It depends on where you pledge your allegiance to. This is Gizmodo vs. Engadget all over again.
If it makes a difference at all, Steve Jobs subscribes to Gizmodo and Bill Gates loves Engadget.
In terms of rumor posting, they're blogs! They're supposed to stir up rumors.
