Just scored an Xbox series X!

I told myself I was going to buy a series S but at the last minute I said "what the hell" and went for the X.

I don't know why I'm so excited. It's just a black box! Perhaps the promise of next gen games whatever they will be?

Credit card company blocked it a few minutes after ordering it. They lifted the block, but I'm not sure the order will go through. I spend half my exposable income on gaming junk. You think this wouldn't raise a red flag with their algorithms.

@berfunkle: My guess is that a lot of people using bots have been trying to buy these things with stolen credit card numbers. My credit card company ALSO flagged (but not did not block) my Series X pre-order for some reason. I also spend a fair amount on gaming stuff, and have had some other even bigger purchases recently that did not get flagged. For example I spent thousands on dental work that went through with no problem.

Hopefully Wal*Mart just updates your payment and it goes through! You might want to call them to make sure.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I finally got an Xbox Series X after a week delay.

I'm impressed especially since I skipped the last gen Xbox and the Series X is much better than my clunky PC.

Nice!! I’m still waiting on GameStop to actually ship mine. I got a shipping email last Wednesday, it’s still awaiting pick up from carrier....
