Well, it's not really porn, but that is how the headline at Kotaku reads. Ten year old Kade Goodman gets a used PSP for Christmas, and his 13 year old brother scrolled through the themes and found a picture of a penis in it. The father says that he was unable to erase the picture, leading to much frustration. In the end, he returned it to the CD Tradepost store where he was provided with a restored PSP and a free game for their troubles.
I'm bringing this story up because I'm worried if certain stores may not take the necessary precautions to delete this kind of material from getting on the hands on children. I wonder how common this problem is.
Kid receives used PSP with porn in it.
Well, the only thing the PSP is useful for is porn. They shouldn't have replaced it.
Amirite or amirite?
" Well, the only thing the PSP is useful for is porn. They shouldn't have replaced it. Amirite or amirite? "I can actually attest to this... I own a PSP that I got for cheap on Boxing Day years ago and literally the only thing I've ever done with it is use other peoples internet to look at porn. Yes, I know I am a terrible person.
I remember something similar not too long back. Not exactly sure how similar, though.
It's rather funny, though, isn't it?
Also, he's thirteen, which means he knows how to use a computer hence that he's seen porn many times before.
This same shit happened last year to some other kid, when his mother bought a brand new PSP with hundreds of images of porn on it's memory stick :/.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" @Linkyshinks:
"
I think I found the story you're talking about about.
"Eliso Tovar - Shocked" hahahahaha that was fucking hilarious. xD
Hang on a second, the PSP had a picture of a penis on it that was un-erasable?
And I see many replies with, 'Cool!' 'Lucky kid'...
I think some of you just read the title and posted ...
*Backs out of homo thread*
From the video I can see it's a PSP-1000... with a new-style theme only available with updated firmware? Its obviously been used before they bought it - I would think it would have been obvious at the time eg. a ripped box, fingerprints, FREE 1GB MEMORY STICK etc... unless they were technically skilled enough to update the firmware yet not remove the picture, which is a bit of a paradox.
EDIT: This report is dodgy as fuck.. they cycle between a PSP-1000 and PSP-3000 all the time. You can tell by the buttons and the 'handles' on the back, which were slimmed down on the 2000 model.
Usually, kids have porn on their PSP. But not pictures of a naked guy. What kind of sick pervert would put a picture of a guy in it like that? Just nasty.
that is horrible thing. maybe the parents should check the used item before they wrap it. i have a feeling this isn't the firs time he had seen a penis before *cough* porn *cough, sex scenes.
at least they got a game with it for the trouble that they had to go to. i have never heard of CD Tradepost store.
