Little Mac should be nerfed in SSB4

Seriously, when you have a guy that hits like Ganondorf and runs like Fox, you should probably be a little bit concerned about the balance of the characters. The dude so broke, that his aerial miscues really don't matter at all.

Just like in the Melee days...when characters like Roy or Fox destroyed the balance in the Universe.

I thought the same way at first, but then I realized I had ranged attacks. He's good, but so are most characters.

1. Yeah no if anything Marth was the better character and you only have to learn the fight to counter Fox.

2. Use range attack and keep him off the ground bait the KO punch thats it.

Eff nerfing! Make everybody else stronger!!

How long has the game been out now?

These sort of premature cries of imbalance have actively harmed games before and it kind of sounds like the consensus is that he's currently about mid-tier at best anyway.

Haha, I mostly just see Little Mac players doing his "lunge" attack and plummeting to their deaths. Even the cpu Macs are fond of suicide.

His recover is so awful that it's already balanced out.

I love fighting Little Mac. He's so dangerous, yet so fragile. Always makes for really intense, high-stakes bouts.

If anything I think he's got too many shortcomings. Definitely too soon to be crying imbalance either way though. Skills and strategies are still developing. Even if you're talking crazy tournament level here.

Zoning characters can absolutely wreck Little Mac. A good Rosalina can pretty much keep him from even landing a hit. (On her at least. Sorry Luma)

Yeah, zoning works well against him, and he doesn't have great air mobility. Also if you play a character with a counter (Roy, Palutena, Lucario), Mac's dashing attacks have pretty good tells to draw out and exploit.

Mac can be cheesed so easily - people will figure him out and he will not be so 'op' - I think he's REALLY well polished and I sorta wish more characters in the roster felt as complete as he does.

His recovery is awful. That alone is a reason why it's already pretty balanced.
