Looking for a similar game to Baldur's Gate

I loved the first   Baldur's Gate and also loved the second one.  The main reason I liked these was because my friend and I could play a GREAT RPG on the same TV.  I know there are other great RPG's out there but are there any dungeon crawlers that allow co-op on the same TV?

Uh, I assume you're talking about the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games and not the original PC RPG.
 
I came in here suggesting Icewind Dale, but alas, that's not what you're looking for. I can't really think of any good console RPGs with co-op that would be similar to the Dark Alliance games.

Even though it's not a console game or a dungeon crawler and does not have co-op, I would suggest Planescape: Torment, it's guwd as hell.

Again, yeah.. was about to suggest Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights, etc.
 
Of course, the Dark Alliance games were good too and in that case I'd also recommend Ultimate Alliance, as well as the older X-Men Legends games and Sacred 2.  And if you haven't heard, the guys who made the Dark Alliance games are working on a similar Lord of the Rings game called War in the North, which is confirmed to have local co-op.  Worth keeping an eye on.

If you're gonna go and talk about Dark Alliance, don't just say "Baldur's Gate". Totally different type of game.
