May 26th 2009, Giant Bomb now has over 40.000 members.

It is nice to see that the site is still going strong and that we are more and more people to visit Giant Bomb every day. I wonder if the site will hit 50k before it's one year anniversary in two months.
Activity has also gone up since April after a slight slowdown in the month of March and is now at around 810K visitors a month a record number for the site so far.

You be using periods instead of commas, I guess it just shows how international friendly giantbomb is.

Great site and the development team deserves all the attention they get.  You guys put together a fanastic site.

The ability to launch a site and within a year compete with the bigger names in your competition is no small feat.  That's impressive no matter what business you're in.

I remember the days when it was nothing more than a blog and a dream. What the hell is Luchadeer doing? Is that bombdust?

Very impressive, but is that also accounting users who have been banned? After all, many of them don't have accessible profiles. A great achievement, regardless.

I wouldn't be surprised if the site reached the big 50K before the one year anniversary. It's the run up to E3 so a lot more people get interested in games and they might end up on Giant Bomb.

Wow. I remember looking at the total members about a week and a half ago and it only being at like 36k. Hooray for Giantbomb!

It's pretty insane knowing that the site gathered up so many members in less than a year. And just think, many of us were the first 1,000 or so members to sign up. Now isn't that awesome?

Long time reader, just signed up... so I take some credits to making it up to 40k today :P
