Picked up Assassins Creed from the bargain bin sometime before the holidays and did play a session of it this year. I'm gonna finish it up in tonights gaming session.
Assassins Creed is very repetitive and overly gamey, but after biting my way through the first couple of assassinations, I picked up on it's vibe and flow and now I like freeing one city district after another, doing the same stuff over and over again. It's kind of like a trance.
Looking forward for AC 2 to hit the bargain bin.
Next up - Darksiders! Zelda on steroids, with blood and gore and a deep combat system. Dark comic artstyle. Sleeper hit of 2010. The wonders of having a 20% lower release day pricetag opened my eyes. This thing is a gem!
Castle Crashers. Picked it up for around $7, had wanted to forever, and it hasn't dissapointed. People should be copying their RPG-Brawler formula on the downloadable services left and right. I would be a happy man. In regards to Castle Crashers specifically, the art is simply amazing. So full of character and little details.
F.E.A.R. 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company... Even though i've only got them on New Years Eve, i only played them on New Years Day. So far, so good i guess.
I get bored of games easily though so it's just more games added to my collection.
Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2. They will suck up my time until Mass Effect 2 but I really want to go back and play Batman AA and Uncharted 2 after listening to the 4 hour Bombcast.
