Good choices, although for me Fallout 3 would be number one and Gta 4 wouldnt even make it in my top ten.
Good to see Mirrors edge getting some love, I really enjoyed that game.

Hint: don't start with your number 1 and end with your number 10.

@ Red:
Yeah I didn't realise that until after I'd posted. My mind runs from "best" to "worst" usually. Didn't fancy re-ordering the whole post after I'd put the images in either!

Yeah I'm with phlegms on GTA 4, doesn't come close to San Andreas in my eyes. Nice list though, some great choices. Don't agree with two comments though "incredible controls" (there were 2 freakin button for all of Mirror's Edge!) and "while maintaining everything that was good about the first game." (did you play the first game? the Multiplayer is shit compared to the first Gears and the gun mechanics was what made the original great and EPIC really fucked that up.

And I'm a Gears fanboy :P

Mirror's Edge is great because it only used 2 buttons allowing you to immerse yourself in the experience and movement more than worrying about fiddly control.

As for Gears, I'm the opposite way around. Almost all that things that irritated me in the first game have been sorted.

I did, but in that game you hold up and it does everything for you. Mirror's Edge has a sense of timing and the whole experience was a lot more immersive.

Prince of Persia does not deserve to be there, neither does Little Big Planet, imo...

I'm there with you on LittleBigPlanet. Prince of Persia, not so much.
