So this title was too long to put in the title section but I wanted to see if anyone has that crazy sensation of hearing a word or phrase that instantly makes you think of a game. Like my example above my professor was taking about plasmids and all I could think about was Bioshock and all the powers you could get. What about you duders? Would you kindly answer this thread.
EDIT: I am not a total dumbass and didn't say Bioshock out loud, I was basically saying that is what popped into my head.
My genetics professor said plasmid and I said bioshock.…
Hmm, the most common occurrence like that for me is looking at number plates and seeing acronyms; a lot of them being game related in some way or another.
Typically don't blurt them out to anyone though.
In my history classes in high school and college whenever we talked about specific leaders or historical buildings I couldn't help but think of Civ. It was very strange hearing about how Ghandi was this super peaceful dude, but when I settled territory by him in Civ he declared war on me. Of course I took that skinny bastard out when he did so.
So you didn't actually say "Bioshock" in the middle of class, you just thougth about it?
Yeah I've done that a bunch before

It was always weird to learn about half-life in my science classes.
That one. I don't think there are any others, and I certainly don't blurt things out at random about it.
The word "Amplitude" reminds me of video games for some reason. I think it was the name of an old game but I don't know.
In history a few years ago we were talking about Pope Alexander VI and then I was like "Oh wait he's the guy you fist fight at the end of Assassin's Creed II!" Video games.
@dbol said:So what happened when you said Bioshock? Did you get an F?
No I didnt actually say it out loud, it just sounds better on the title.Did everyone laugh at you for blurting out random words like a mentally handicapped person?

Any time I hear "a bomb" anywhere in a sentence. Somebody knows what I'm thinking. Right?
What a shame.

Lambda will forever be the Half-life logo in my head first and the symbol for wavelength second.
