It's proving harder than anticipated to get a platinum on this game. Nevertheless, I will persist. All I have left to do is get 2 spells for the sage's trophy, +5 a weapon with greystone, bladestone, spiderstone, and marrowstone.
I'll give it less than a week. Hopefully. I told myself I would not play any other games until I achieve this.
Anyways, I wanted to know if I was the only one thats crazy enough to attempt this? Or if any of you have done it before.
My quest to S rank "Demon's Souls"
" Farming Pure Bladestone can break a man. "Good thing I lucked out and got one :) Just need shards and chunks D:
" @EVO: You poor soul. Maneater still destroys me and im at Soul level 145 D: "If you have the spell Firestorm then use it. It's very effective against Maneater. Also, he won't attack while you are standing right next to that big brazier but is also means that you won't be able to hurt him. If you are a melee guy and using heavy armor then I would suggest having the Ring of Strength on so you'll be able to roll out of his way very quickly.
" @Poopmaster7 said:I'm a Temple Knight, sadly. It's not like its impossible. It's just if I get lazy or make a mistake Ill pay for it and probably die. The Maneater is a very tedious fight. Not "difficult" but annoying." @EVO: You poor soul. Maneater still destroys me and im at Soul level 145 D: "If you have the spell Firestorm then use it. It's very effective against Maneater. " getting a Pure Bladestone is the most time consuming since there's 1/200 chance drop from the Duel-Katana Skeleton "Getting marrowstone chunks was pretty annoying for me too. You have to keep killing the flying bugs in the swamp area.
" @Eaten said:Yeah, its really annoying since theres only like 8 guys in the whole game who drop it and they dont even do it all the time. Thats why i've just been pumping everything into luck and got the large sword of searching. It's really more time consuming then difficult really especially if you're trying to get pure blade stones for that one trophy. I don't have a platinum myself but if I had the time and patience then I would.

Tedious: continuously having to go back to the boss area when I die.
Difficult: I still haven't beaten it.
Annoying: that one time I got the second Maneater down to like a 1/4 health, poisoned and glitching under the bridge, but deciding to suicide because I felt I was cheating the game.
The first boss that's supposed to kill you or or the world 1-1 boss, Phalanx?" I lent this to my friend after I went through my first game - I needed a break from it before jumping back in - and he gave it back to me the next day. He couldn't get to the first boss and wanted nothing more to do with it. "
Edit: oh, he couldn't even get to the boss so that must mean Phalanx, sorry I misread your post. There are a few hard places for beginners (Mostly the knights and dragons) in 1-1 but it's still bad to not even complete the first level.
" Have you thought about just shooting yourself in the face instead? "once or twice. It would be much more enjoyable than doing this.
