Good on ya, fuck all those people who tried to defend that word in that other thread.
My Worst Moment

I greatly appreciate this, though I completely understand. Under pressure, some terrible things can come out of our mouths. Perhaps my comfort with my own sexuality was what kept me from being offended, but I wasn't too bothered by it. Hopefully the other gays in the community can be as understanding :) But the fact that you recognized it immediately and without prompting seconds after you said it shows you didn't intend to use a word like that, so I know this is sincere. Mistakes will be made, but life will go on :)
Im not sure what was said but the fact that you recognized what you said was hurtful and can apologize for it shows great character. Good on you.
While what you said was terrible, it's understandable slips ups happen, I'd be lying if I said I've never had that word or similar others slip out despite that fact that I despise them. The good thing is you were able to man up, admit the fuck up, and apologize. Many others associated with our hobby would not, or worse yet, would use words such as that out of spitefulness.
Apology accepted.
Glad we can move past this. The video as a whole was one of the greatest moments in GB history. I hope that an under one second piece of audio doesn't keep it from getting archived.
I think everyone here can agree that Ryan didn't do anything out of malicious intent, and everyone has outbursts where they say regrettable things.
Ryan, I don't know you personally, but from what I've heard on the podcast, you seem to be a stand up guy. We all say stupid things once in a while. We're human.
In the other thread I originally stated that I didn't want the word censored, but after reading Ryan's post I've had a change of heart. He's really tore up over this, and if I was in his position I'd want to erase it from my life too.
Regardless of what was said we all love Ryan unconditionally.
You're a great duder, Ryan, and what you said was in the heat of the moment and a slip of the tongue. Apology accepted.

What did he even say? Either way I am cool with whatever he said,
Haha, I've never been so confused with my own feelings. I wanted to post something like "hey, Ryan, it's cool. In fact, I think you're making way too big a deal out of this," and then I see this completely bizarre comment and I'm just like... maybe I should log off the internet for the night?
You have proven that this isn't your usual behaviour by instantly apologizing on stream without having been asked, which in my opinion was enough and I already had forgotten minutes later. You had a dirty mouth fart on the air. The rest of the story is just the internet beeing the internet as usual.
Was Ryan the guy spamming the Cards Against Humanity chat? The guy who forced me to become a magical sword or whatever?
I argue with people all the time how words like that (among others) are harmful and how using them all the time is bad. However acknowledging what one says and owning up to it is all that matters. I would be lying if I said I never used the word in a similar context. Accidently or on purpose.
Is it weird that I respect Ryan more now? Like, I don't condone the word or anything, but him manning the hell up about the slip up really struck a cord with me.
Ryan : don't let the internet idiots get you down. Your fans will move on, you should do the same.
Apology accepted Ryan. You quickly realized your action and owned up to it. And like everyone else is saying here, we've all said stupid stuff in the heat of the moment.

As I have no idea what was actually said, I will assume he called someone a Shoemaker.
You shut your foul mouth!
To be honest... I laughed. Does that make me a horrible person? Probably.. but it was said in the heat of the moment, and at a game that was tearing the edges of your sanity. The reason i was watching the stream was just waiting for a moment like that. I honestly was expecting brad to snap first, but hey, you proved you are human and make mistakes. Duder, it was an amazing show, and being premium content it made me even happier I am a subscriber. Great show Ryan, and this little gaff was just an amusing bump in the road.
