Tomorrow i will pick up one of the two(pretty sure both coming tomorrow), both have unique/interesting online modes that have really piqued my interest. PEOPLE, HELP ME DECIDE !!!!!!!!!!
Need for speed hot pursuit vs assassins creed brother hood.
No Way!!! NFS man!! Brotherhood is just another AC game... BUT this new NFS was made by Criterion!!! Dude! That's automatically a whole S*!T load of Awesome!!! Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till the 21st (bday) so I'll have the Extra money to buy it... *sigh*
If you've played the previous Assassin's Creed games, Brotherhood is obvious. If not, spring for the previous two Assassin's Creed games.
Either way, fuck NFS.
I'd say Need For Speed. The Hot Pursuit games are always the best entries in the series, and it's good to see it go back to their roots. Assassin's Creed looks pretty cool, but I don't care about Ezio after the end of 2, and the multiplayer looks too similar to The Ship or something, which I didn't really enjoy. I'm waiting for 3.
The classic debate: Stabbing vs. Driving. Do you like to go Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh or Vroom Vroom Vroom Vroom Vroom?
Seriously though, you really can't go wrong with either one. NFS is getting rave reviews so far, and Brotherhood looks like a continuation of the great AC storyline with a The Ship-like multiplayer thrown in.
Personally, I'll be getting both. NFS is going to be $35 at Best Buy on Black Friday, and I have a $20 gaming credit on Amazon that is going towards Brotherhood.

If you get both at Best Buy you get a $30 gift card, which makes one of them (sort of) only $30 (since the next game you would have spent $60 on really will be only $30).
Unless you aren't in an area of the world with BB's. In that case I say stabbing wins over driving.
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh.
I would have picked NFS over ACB but after the demo I'm not so sure, the handling was pretty fucking shit.
I got to go with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. I still remember playing the original back on ps1 for countless hours. Can't wait to get back into the series.
I've never played an Assassin's Creed game, but after watching the Brotherhood quicklook, it looks interesting.
AC without question.
Honestly, Need for Speed has been the same game the last 10 years. I'm confused as to why people keep buying them.
One of these games will control well, and the other will involve your character spastically flinging himself off a roof without your permission while you wonder why you have to hold these same two buttons down throughout the entirety of the game.
i am going to get AC brotherhood but i have no interest in the MP AC has always been about story and narrative along with the game play for me. i think the addition of MP is a waste. but i will also be buying NFSP-HP later because that series is one of my favorite PC racers from the late 90's
Whoa whoa whoa, hold on. They're making a new Hot Pursuit?!
Well, which do you prefer: drivin' or stabbin'?
