Seeing as this forum has probably some of the most knowledgeable members when it pertains to video games, I thought maybe one of you could help me in identifying a video game from my youth. I played it on my Sega Genesis, though it could've been released on other platforms. I don't have much information on the plot or anything, all I remember is that you played as a star of some sort, and it was a pretty basic side scrolling adventure things. I also remember that one of the key gameplay elements involved swinging on these little bars to build up speed, then hitting a button to fling your Star Guy into different parts of the game. I've searched pretty thoroughly on this site, but I still can't seem to find the game. So if anyone knows what game I'm talking about, just post the title here or something. It's been bugging me for some time now, thanks!

oh yeah, some guy on GS has that as his avatar/sig. let me dig that up...
turned out he was banned. but I think the game is called Ristar.
