Need summer game suggestions

I just finished Max Payne 3 and realized there are almost no games I'm interested in coming out this summer. I was thinking of trying Asura's Wrath or Space Marine. Do you guys have any overlooked gems to recommend? (Keep in mind I only own a PS3 and Wii)

Bocce ball. That's a good summer game.

Mind games. I'm playing them right now.

@MeetThePyro: The obvious answer is to get a summer job so you can purchase a 360 or nice PC to play all those awesome games you missed.

Vanquish? Singularity? Both of those games kind of came and went and both are pretty damned good.

@believer258: I loved Singularity, as for Vanquish after Max Payne 3 I'm a little tired out on slow motion based 3rd person shooters.

I'm kidding. Have you per chance played Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness - Episode One& Two? Because if not you could give those a whirl.

I'd encourage you check out Space Marine if you were already thinking about it. I was pleasantly surprised, it turned out to be a lot of fun. You can probably pick it up for cheap now, or get it for free this month if you're a Playstation Plus subscriber.

A MMO you can blow alot of time real fast. Don't know which one to suggest.

Mass Effect 2 (it's better than 3)

Playstation Plus may be worth looking at, it has inFamous 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

I recently took a 3 month subscription to Playstation Plus and have been having fun with Just Cause 2. It's summery and tropical. It's a bit wonky in areas, but it's fun for a (sorta) free-bee. I want to try Zombie Apocalypse and Space Marine next.

I'd love to play Syndicate which came out fairly recently. It seems like some dumb fun so maybe that?

I myself plan to finish Max Payne 3, then finish every single Ratchet and Clank game (HD collection, plus the PS3 ones) then Jak and Daxter HD, then Valkyria Chronicles, and possible some Civ 5 here and there, probably won't get through it all, but maybe that's for you? Except Civ and Max of course.

Might be better to get a short list together of a dozen games you're interested in so we don't send you a ton of ideas on things you have already or just don't want to play.

Apparently they made Civ 5 with the ability to play on Intel HD graphics in mind.

Shadows of the Damned? I don't know, haven't really been thinking of stuff I've missed, because I think there's a ton of awesome games coming out this summer.

So far from these suggestions I'm thinking of checking out Just Cause 2, Syndicate, Asura's Wrath, and Space Marine. Any suggestions that aren't shooters? (I don't have playstation plus btw)

Persona 4. That oughta keep you busy for a while.

Choose a random series and play through all of it. I did that one Summer with Metal Gear one time and it was awesome. Thinking about doing it with the Yakuza series this summer.

But you might as well get the year long instead. inFamous 2 is $39.99. For $10 more you're getting all those other games, plus whatever other free games they offer for the next 11 months.

You've got it right with Space Marine. Dunno how it plays on the PS3, but it was awesome on the 360.

If you have a Vita, get Disgaea 3. That game will last you for at least a month.

You really SHOULD try VanQuish, it's so different from MP3 that it's kind of crazy.

Uhm, I don't know if you've heard of it, but there's this little game called Diablo 3...

Also, Torchlight II has a "Summer" release window.

@MeetThePyro: Your PC can probably run Torchlight II. It even has a netbook mode to take advantage of integrated graphics chips.

Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. Pretty much Wii's swansong. You'll dump 70+ hours in to it if RPGs are your thing. Great reviews too.
